QuitMate (hereinafter referred to as “this App”) is developed by the Developer. We deeply understand the importance of privacy, and this Privacy Policy aims to clearly and transparently explain how this App handles your personal information.

Core Principle: Your data belongs to you and is stored only on your device.

2. Information We Handle

2.1 Data Stored Locally

This App stores only the following data locally on your device:

• Sobriety Start Date: The date you set to begin your sobriety journey
• Consumption Habits: The drink type you selected and your average weekly spending amount
• Trigger Records: “Craving” events you actively log (including trigger factor tags and optional notes)
• App Settings: Language preferences, App Lock toggle, weekly recap notification switch, etc.

2.2 Information We Do NOT Collect

• ❌ No data is uploaded to any server
• ❌ No third-party analytics SDKs (such as Firebase, Google Analytics, etc.)
• ❌ No advertising SDKs
• ❌ No device identifiers collected (such as IDFA, IDFV)
• ❌ No location information collected
• ❌ No contacts or photo library information collected
• ❌ No selling, sharing, or trading of any of your personal information

3. Data Storage and Security

3.1 Storage Location

All data is stored exclusively on your local iOS device using Apple’s SwiftData framework for persistence. Data never leaves your device unless you proactively use the export feature.

3.2 App Lock

If you enable the App Lock feature (Face ID / Touch ID / Device Passcode), this App will require re-authentication after more than 2 minutes in the background to protect your private data from unauthorized access.

3.3 Data Export

You can export your data as a file via the “Export CSV” function on the Settings page. The export operation is entirely under your control; the exported files are managed by you, and we do not access or store the exported files.

4. Permission Usage

This App may request the following system permissions:

• Camera
• Microphone
• Location
• Contacts
• Photo Library

5. Third-Party Services

This App does NOT use any third-party services, including but not limited to:

• No analytics services
• No advertising services
• No crash reporting services (such as Crashlytics)
• No push notification services (other than Apple’s native APNs)
• No cloud sync services

6. Children’s Privacy

This App is not designed for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

7. Changes to This Privacy Policy

If we make material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will notify you in the following ways:

• Display a notice within the App
• Update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this Policy
