Empty Folder Cleaner (hereinafter referred to as “the App”) respects and protects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the App collects, uses, stores, and protects your information. Please read this policy carefully before using the App.
The App only scans folders that you actively select locally on your device to identify empty folders. We do not collect, upload, or share any file contents, file paths, folder names, or personal information.
The App does not collect:
When you choose to delete empty folders, the App performs the deletion through the macOS system Trash (NSWorkspace.recycle). All deletion operations are completed locally on your device, and no data is sent to remote servers.
The App requires you to authorize access to a directory through the system file picker before scanning can begin. If you do not select any directory, the App will not actively read your file system. You may revoke or change this authorization at any time.
The App does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, statistics, or cloud service SDKs, and does not share data with any third parties.
The App does not target content or services to children under the age of 13, and does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated policy will be displayed through the “Privacy Policy” entry within the App, along with the last updated date.
